Tax Pocket App
Re-skin of tax tracker app and its website
After acquiring this app, I needed to better align the visuals to the parent company brand. I also advised on quick improvements to the UX functionality to keep the project on schedule but to launch a version that was truly an improvement for the current users.

Inspired our UX team to design without limitations, breaking away from the ideas of our system limitations. We brainstormed ideas for designing beyond those restraints. Through regularly embracing this exercise, we solved problems previously deemed ones we ‘just had to live with.’

Created iterative paper prototypes, digital wireframes and pixel-perfect mock-ups quickly to meet tight deadlines to expand our systems and website.

Applied user experience best practices to designs by using personas, creating journey maps and analyzing user data. Worked closely with stakeholders and developers to communicate the needs and vision.

Acted as the user advocate during collaboration with company executives, the marketing team and internal clients while developing and executing web and print designs.

Performed in-person and online user testing to ensure project design success. Made suggestions to marketing and development teams based on findings from those tests.

Successfully lead a cross-departmental team to implement a complete company rebrand within a six-month time period. Created a new visual customer experience on our website and print materials while building positive internal relationships.
