Rebrand

I successfully led a cross-departmental team to implement a complete company rebrand in six months' time. This included the look and feel of the website, print materials and social media outlets.

 

I gathered a team of experts from each department ranging from IT to Member Services to ensure all areas of the company were ready for the update. We met regularly to fully understand the needs and tasks, but more importantly, we met to create a great team rapport. This was the first time all departments were represented in a single team, and many of them had not worked with each other before. Throughout each team discussion, team members began to better understand the new brand and value the viewpoints of their coworkers from other departments. This helped strengthen the organization's culture even after the project had been completed.

Rebrand Assets

Outside of the teamwork needed to implemented the rebrand, the overall look and feel needed a solid foundation of assets to draw from. This included outlining, planning and art directing photo shoots to create the new visuals for website and print materials.

Brand templates

I also created a central repository of new logos in a variety of formats, updated office collateral like letterhead and PowerPoint templates, and provided color palette cheat sheets. The other designer and I worked closely to ensure our ongoing print and web pieces reflected the updated brand standards as well.
